ABOUT US

Alaska Bike Adventures is very proud to share that our guides are some of the most talented, knowledgeable, and capable bikers in the State who offer several decades of combined biking and mountain biking experience.

Grande

Christina Grande hails from San Francisco and moved to Alaska in 2006. Born and raised in The City, she realized how much she loved the outdoors and calls AK her home. She has been working in the bike industry since 2010 at local bike shops in Anchorage. Grande has been a certified bike fitter since 2013. Grande loves to ride bikes from road, mountain, cross, and fatbiking in winter to commuting in town.

She also enjoys long distance races and completed rides like the Fireweed 400, Susitna 100, White Mountains 100 and Dirty Kanza. She received a BA in Broadcast Journalism from San Francisco State University (oh yea she was a reporter for 4 years in Alaska. That’s why she moved to AK), and is a Wilderness First Responder, certified Professional Mountain Bike Instructor (PMBI) and United Bicycle Institute certified bike mechanic. She received her League Cycling Instructor Certification through the League of American Bicyclists in 2020. Grande is also a board member of the local trail crew called Singletrack Advocates, is a member of the Radical Adventure Riders Leadership team, a mentor with Anchorage GRIT, and she has helped with The American Lung Association’s Clean Air Challenge ride since 2010.

Grande has traveled on her bike through Israel on the Holyland Bikepacking Route, The Oregon Coast, in Mexico on the Baja Divide, leap frogged the Tour de France on her road bike with her good friend Laura Baker and the Fool’s Loop Trail in Arizona.

Dusty

Dusty Eroh moved to Alaska in 2007 from Pennsylvania and has been crushing it in the Last Frontier ever since. He has a unique blend of work experience from his full-time job at Revelate Designs and his springtime stints with Alaska Mountaineering School in the Alaska Range, leading climbing expeditions. He has summited Denali 5 times! When he is not climbing, he is biking.

Dusty is an avid mountain biker and enjoys doing long distance self-supported races like the Arizona Trail Race (750 mi.) where he got second in 2018. He also raced in the Susitna 100, Kenai 250 (three finishes in 2nd place) and the Highland 500 in Scotland. When Dusty rides, he has been compared to the Tazmanian Devil. He will make you laugh with his wit, and his determination and focus is a sign of a great leader when guiding trips. He received a BA in Outdoor Studies from Alaska Pacific University, is a Wilderness First Responder since 2008, and is Avalanche II, NRA Shotgun Safety, and Leave No Trace Trainer certified.
